In Stacksherpa we have developed a plugin in order to integrate our billing tool with Ceilometer, the OpenStack metering project that will become official part of OpenStack in the Grizzly release (April 2013). We just can’t wait for Grizzly. 
In this video we show the main concepts of the Ceilometer architecture, explain the related entities, the metering and collection process and how is possible to develop an integrated solution to provide billing for our OpenStack architecture:
